U.S. Bank Food Industries Leads $850 Million Senior Unsecured Credit Facilities for The Andersons, Inc.

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 29, 2012-- U.S. Bank today announced that its Food Industries Division has closed as sole lead arranger for $850 million senior unsecured credit facilities for The Andersons, Inc.

“We were pleased to be able to expand on our relationship with The Andersons,” said Elizabeth Hund, senior vice president and division head of U.S. Bank Food Industries. “Our extensive knowledge of the industry allows us to structure financing that offers the flexibility and cost efficiency that the company needs.”

The Andersons, Inc. is a diversified company with interests in the grain, ethanol and plant nutrient sectors of U.S. agriculture, as well as in railcar leasing and repair, turf products production, and general merchandise retailing.
