U.S. Bank Branch Also Slated for One Columbus Building at Corner Broad and High

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 2007--U.S. Bank officially announced today that it will move its regional headquarters to the Capital Square at the corner of Broad and High Street. U.S. Bank also plans to open a branch on the 10 West Broad Street level, with ATM access both in and outside the building to service the high pedestrian traffic in the area. It is currently under negotiation to change the name of the building from One Columbus to the U.S. Bank Building, and is in the process of securing the necessary permits to place its name atop the 26-story structure.

David Sceva, U.S. Bank Columbus market president, said, "This is great news for our customers, prospective clients and associates. Our future Columbus headquarters, on Capital Square in the heart of the financial district of Columbus, truly projects the status and quality of U.S. Bank and our employees. This move not only makes economical sense, but also illustrates how important the Columbus market is to us and the growth we have attained thus far. Also, the synergy of bringing our business lines together on the 12th floor will go a long way in showcasing the strength of our organization."

Currently, U.S. Bank occupies 25,376 square feet on the fourth and twelfth floor at 175 South 3rd Street. It will consolidate its retail branch there and at 62 East Broad Street to the new regional office and all employees in those locations will be asked to stay with the bank.
