|Cabot Oil & Gas Announces New Regional Manager|
HOUSTON, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation (NYSE: COG) today announced that Thomas S. Liberatore, age 45, has been appointed to the position of Regional Manager, East. In this capacity, Liberatore will oversee exploration and production activities in the Company's Eastern region.
Liberatore joins Cabot after serving most recently as vice president exploration and production for North Coast Energy. He began his career as a geologist and has held various operating positions of increasing responsibility for Presidio Oil Company and Belden & Blake Corp.
"Tom's knowledge of the Eastern region, combined with his technical expertise in geology, will help direct our exploration activity in the East," said Ray R. Seegmiller, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Tom brings strong management experience to a team that has extensive knowledge of the basin."
Liberatore received his B.S. in Geology from West Virginia University. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and has held numerous positions, including president and treasurer, for the Independent Oil and Gas Association of West Virginia. Liberatore is also a member of several additional regional professional organizations.
