PTC Hosts Worldwide Media and Analyst Event; Executives Provide Insight into Key Company Initiatives, Customers Share Product Success Stories

NEEDHAM, Mass., Jun 05, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC), the Product Development Company(TM), today announced that key executives and 11 of its leading global customers will present at the Annual PTC Worldwide Media and Analyst Event, which is being held in conjunction with the 2006 PTC/USER World Conference in Dallas, TX. PTC executives will provide insight into the company's progressive customer satisfaction initiative, product roadmap updates including recent M&A integration efforts as well as financial performance and goals.

Customers from China, Italy, Japan, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan and the U.S. will share their specific market and product challenges and how they employed PTC solutions to advance their product development initiatives. These customers represent a variety of industries including aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer products, and electronics and high technology. A partial list of the customers who will be presenting includes:

  • Char-Broil, a division of W.C. Bradley Co., a leading manufacturer of gas barbecue grills, accessories, smokers and charcoal and electric grills.
  • Grand River Group Co., Ltd., one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers in China. With world-class equipment and production lines, it efficiently produces high quality products with world-leading technology and processing methods.
  • ITT Industries, Inc., a supplier advanced technology products and services in key markets including fluid and water management including water treatment, defense communication, opto-electronics, information technology and services, electronic interconnects and switches, and other specialty products.
  • Lifetime Products, the world's largest manufacturer of residential basketball equipment and polyethylene folding tables. Lifetime Products is a vertically integrated company, producing its own metal and plastic components from raw rolls of steel and plastic beads.
  • Sanyo Epson, established in 2004 after consolidating LCD businesses of Seiko Epson Corporation, Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd., Tottori Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd., and Sanyo LCD Engineering Co., Ltd., specializes in manufacturing mid-to-small LCDs for mobile phones, digital cameras and navigation systems.
