Where we are around the world
Daniel J. Heinrich joined Ball Corporation’s board of directors in 2016. He is the former executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Clorox Company, a diversified household and consumer products company known for its laundry, cleaning, household and lifestyle products.
Heinrich joined Clorox in 2001 as vice president and controller and served as chief financial officer from 2003 until 2011.
As CFO and the senior financial executive for the company, Heinrich served as a member of the Executive and Employee Benefits Committees; secretary to the audit and finance committees of the board, and board member for most of the company’s subsidiaries. He was responsible for a large, global organization and led all financial forecasting, planning and analysis, global business services, mergers and acquisitions, accounting, tax and information technology activities.
Previously, Heinrich held senior level positions with Transamerica Finance Corporation, Granite Management Co. and First Nationwide Bank, and was a senior audit manager for Ernst & Young.
In addition to his role with the Ball Corporation board of directors, Heinrich serves on the boards of ARAMARK and Edgewell Personal Care. He chairs the audit committees for both of these public boards and serves on their finance committees. Additionally, Heinrich serves on the board of a large, privately held winery in California, where he is a member of the audit and finance committee, the management development and compensation committee, and participates on various operating and advisory committees including information systems, new product development, agriculture and operations/supply chain.
Heinrich holds an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley. He received his Certified Public Accountant accreditation from the California Board of Accountancy in 1980.
