| Dale Zimmerman Vice President, R&D Dale Zimmerman joined MicroVision in June 2011 and serves as Vice President of R&D. Prior to MicroVision, Mr. Zimmerman has served in a variety of roles at various phases in his career including research, product development, business development, and executive management. Mr. Zimmerman has broad experience developing innovative technologies and building profitable businesses around them. He began his career in the Central Research Lab at Texas Instruments pioneering the development of GaAs microwave ICs. This technology developed into a healthy business and was spun out into TriQuint, a profitable $1B company. He was also an early pioneer in DLP technology and played an important role in launching the first conference room projectors, home theater projectors, and HDTVs. His teams have received many awards including 3 Emmys and CES Innovation Best of Show. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from MIT and Stanford. | |
