(NYSE: WEC) today recorded net income based on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) of $194.4 million, or 61 cents per share, for the fourth quarter of 2016 compared with $179.3 million, or 57 cents per share, for the fourth quarter of 2015. |MILWAUKEE, Jan. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of WEC Energy Group, Inc. (NYSE: WEC) today declared a quarterly cash dividend of 52 cents per share on the company's common stock, an increase of 5.1 percent over the current quarterly dividend of 49.50 cents a share. This raises the annual dividend rate to $2.08 a share.
