MMC to Hold Investor Call on August 2 to Discuss Second Quarter 2005 Results

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, July 18, 2005 - Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (MMC) plans to announce second quarter 2005 results on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 in a news release to be issued before the market opens. The release will also be available on MMC's website at www.mmc.com.

Michael G. Cherkasky, president and chief executive officer of MMC, and Sandra S. Wijnberg, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will lead a discussion with investors on financial results, including a question and answer period, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on August 2.
