Cummins Names Jenny Bush to Lead Mid-South Distributor Business

MEMPHIS, TN. (February 17, 2013) – Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI) has named Jenny Bush President of Cummins Mid-South. Bush will succeed Ben Strafuss.

Headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, Cummins Mid-South serves a broad region of the United States, including the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, and portions of Florida, Illinois, Missouri, and Tennessee.

“I am excited about the opportunity to lead such a great organization within the Cummins family,” said Bush. “Mid-South serves a number of application markets and is notable in its global leadership within the commercial marine segment. As one of the Company’s leading distributors, Mid-South plays an important role in growing our North American Distribution business, facilitating growth across the other Cummins buisnesses and contributing to the success of our customers. I look forward to leveraging the expertise within my new organization to realize the full potential of the Mid-South business.”

Joining Cummins in 1997, Bush most recently served as General Manager for the Commercial Marine Business where she grew the commercial marine business over 12% in the past two years. Prior to that, she has held a number of roles in the United Kingdom and the United States, including Oil & Gas Service Bush Engineering, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Distribution Business Technical Support Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt, General Manager EMEA Sales, Global Purchasing Director and Interim Operations Director for Cummins Generator Technologies.

Bush graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Wirral Metropolitan, an affiliate of Liverpool University, Liverpool U.K., and has an MBA degree in International Marketing from Leicester University, Leicester, U.K.. She is a certified Black Belt and completed seven projects in 16 months with over $15M of savings to Cummins. Bush and family plan to relocate from Charleston, SC to Memphis, TN in the near future.
