The agreement will result in excess of £100,000 worth of equipment being supplied to the College for use by the Land and Countryside Studies Faculty to maintain the college grounds and to aid student education. To date the equipment delivered includes an Iseki TJ75 tractor, an Iseki TXG23 compact tractor with rotary cutting deck and an ST350 turf utility vehicle.

Ransomes Jacobsen will also be inviting groups of students to their factory to gain experience of a modern manufacturing plant, making and distributing equipment to the turf care sector. Ransomes Jacobsen’s Cutting Edge training team will be using the facilities at Otley College and will also train the staff in the safe use and operation of all equipment.

As part of the agreement, the new sports pitch at the College will be named after Ransomes Jacobsen.
