PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul. 9, 2012-- Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK) announced today that it has been awarded a $91 million contract to provide engineering services to investigate, design, and implement remedial actions at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, in Florida. This multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a five-year period of performance.
Under this new contract, Tetra Tech can develop and implement contamination assessment and remedial actions at sites that are contaminated with hazardous waste, solid waste, and/or petroleum products. These activities are generally regulated under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Tetra Tech will provide RCRA regulatory documentation, investigate contamination, develop remedial designs, and conduct groundwater and soil remediation.
