Administaff Elects Dr. Eli Jones to Board of Directors

HOUSTON, April 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Administaff, Inc. (NYSE: ASF), the nation's leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO), today announced the election of Professor Eli Jones to its board of directors.

Jones is an associate professor of marketing and executive director of the Program for Excellence in Selling at the University of Houston. He received his BS degree in journalism in 1982, his MBA in 1986 and his Ph.D. in 1997 from Texas A&M University. Prior to becoming a professor, Dr. Jones worked in sales and sales management for Quaker Oats, Nabisco and Frito-Lay.

He has been published in the Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management, Marketing Education Review, the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, Industrial Marketing Management, the Journal of Business-to-Business Marketing, the Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing and numerous international, national and regional conference proceedings. He is also the co-author of the textbook, "Selling ASAP: Art, Science, Agility and Performance." Jones serves on the editorial review boards of the Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management and Industrial Marketing Management and is an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Business Research, American Marketing Association, the Academy of Marketing Science and the National Conference in Sales Management. He also serves on the University of Akron's Fisher Sales Institute's advisory board, the academic advisory committee for the Direct Selling Education Foundation in Washington, D.C. and is a national vice chair for the American Marketing Association's Sales and Sales Management Special Interest Group, co-editor of the Sales Professional Network and the academic research director for the Institute for Certified Sales Professionals.

With the addition of Dr. Jones, Administaff's board is comprised of eight members, including six independent directors. Jones will serve on the board's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and the Compensation Committee.
