|Henry Riner Named New Onvia President and CEO|
SEATTLE, WA, Sep 07, 2010 -- Onvia, Inc. (NASDAQ: ONVI) announced that Henry ("Hank") Riner has been named the company's new president and chief executive officer. Riner is expected to be elected to Onvia's Board of Directors at the first Board meeting after his employment with the company has commenced.
Riner, 59, currently is CEO of OSG Billing Services ("OSG"), a New Jersey-based company that provides web-based invoice and statement printing services. He brings over 16 years of experience as a CEO and 30 years of experience in marketing, maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction as well as finding solutions through technology.

During his tenure as CEO at OSG, Riner created a five-year strategic growth plan to triple shareholder value, redefined the company mission to focus on the value of direct marketing of transaction documents, and energized the sales department to drive double-digit organic revenue and EBITDA growth during his first year. In addition, he introduced digital marketing and social media as a nucleus for a new lead generation program and achieved organizational alignment to create exceptional shareholder value during his first year. Earlier in his career, Riner developed and marketed ProQuest, the leading proprietary search engine for scholarly and research information on the Internet today.
