Chinook Well In Deepwater Gulf Of Mexico Discovers Hydrocarbons

An exploration well on the Chinook prospect (AHC 15%) in the deepwater Gulf of
Mexico has discovered hydrocarbons. Drilled in approximately 8,830 feet of water,
the well exceeded a total of 27,650 feet and encountered a gross hydrocarbon column
of 620 feet, with 260 feet of net oil pay.
The Chinook discovery is located about 180 miles off the Louisiana coast in Walker Ridge Block 469. Additional appraisal data will be required to determine the scale of the resource discovered.
