| Standex Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend |
| SALEM, N.H., July 31, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Standex International Corporation
(NYSE:SXI) today announced its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash
dividend of 21 cents a share, which is payable August 24, 2002 to stockholders
of record August 12, 2002.
The dividend is the 152nd consecutive quarterly cash dividend. Standex has paid dividends each quarter since it became a public corporation in November, 1964. During this 37-year period the Company has increased its dividend rate 35 times.
